Step 1:
Conceptually I knew that I wanted my first furniture design to be crafted out of leather with beautiful embroidery. Finding the hide of leather in black and the accent cording in silver gray was easy. The challenge was finding an embroidery specialist to do the intricate embroidery. After several weeks of searching, I finally found an embroidery designer. Through collaboration, these were the design elements chosen. Stitching each panel was lengthy; sometimes, beauty takes a lot of time.
Step 2:
After the embroidery was finalized, I had one more treasure to find; unfinished buns that I could paint and gloss to my liking. I found the buns and painted them black. A black high glossy contemporary bun was my choice and they finished the look perfectly.

Step 3:
My final design!!!! My first furniture design; this is a piece that I will always treasure. It took a lot of collaborating with the upholsterer and embroidery designer to get to this point; this was a massive deal for me.
